Where did the name “The Egg & I” even come from?
The Egg & I name was inspired by the 1940s-American memoir written by Betty MacDonald. It was later made into a movie starring Claudette Colbert and Fred MacMurray.
Do I need to make a reservation?
Actually, we do not accept reservations. However, if you’re dropping by with more than seven of your best friends, we recommend you call ahead. That way we can do our best to prepare for and accommodate your party. (No promises, though).
